Work that moves
whole systems

Evidence becomes useful when it can move

Data-driven

Use reliable evidence to understand challenges, improve performance, and guide resources.

Human-centred

Design around the realities, needs, behaviours, and ambitions of the people a system serves.

Systems-focused

Strengthen governance, accountability, capacity, and the structures that sustain progress.

Results-oriented

Connect strategy to implementation, monitoring, learning, and measurable outcomes.

Health

Strengthening health systems to improve lives.

Health shapes how children learn, how families earn, how communities withstand shocks, and how economies grow.

Yet health systems remain under pressure from inequitable access, workforce constraints, financing gaps, fragmented data, weak accountability, and barriers to care. FINOM helps partners generate evidence, understand constraints, improve implementation, and build the accountability required for better outcomes.

Our belief

Better health outcomes emerge when decisions are grounded in evidence, services are designed around people, and delivery systems perform consistently in real-world conditions.

Featured health projects

Evidence in action.

01
Kano State / Child Health / Programme DeliveryREACH: Resiliency Through Azithromycin for Children

FINOM supported large-scale azithromycin mass drug administration across eight LGAs in Kano State through technical leadership, field supervision, digital monitoring, and real-time performance tracking.

Value deliveredSupported two implementation phases that reached more than one million children while strengthening campaign supervision, workforce coordination, and monitoring systems.

02
Kano and Kaduna / Health Systems / AccountabilityIndependent Verification of Integrated Supportive Supervision

FINOM led independent verification across participating primary healthcare centres, combining facility assessments, workforce verification, documentation reviews, and digital data collection.

Value deliveredVerified implementation across hundreds of facilities and generated evidence to improve supervision systems, accountability, and facility performance.

03
Benue, Enugu and Taraba / Reproductive Health / ResearchACCESS Baseline Qualitative Assessment

FINOM supported a multi-state qualitative assessment of the social, behavioural, and cultural factors influencing family-planning and post-abortion-care uptake.

Value deliveredGenerated actionable insight into service barriers, community perceptions, and behavioural drivers for culturally responsive programming.

Education

Building the human capital required for sustainable development.

By 2050, one in every three young people globally will be African. That opportunity can become shared prosperity only when young people can access knowledge, skills, confidence, and meaningful pathways to participate.

Education is a foundation for productivity, health, resilience, social mobility, and national development. FINOM supports partners to diagnose education challenges, generate actionable evidence, design practical interventions, strengthen accountability, and improve programme delivery at scale.

Deep dive into education
Better learning outcomes require better evidence, stronger systems, human-centred design, and implementation models that work in reality.

Featured project

Zamfara Home-Grown School Feeding Programme

Designed to increase school attendance through free school meals, the programme responds to educational exclusion while supporting household resilience and children’s long-term prospects.

FINOM’s role

As monitoring, evaluation, and learning partner, FINOM reviewed the M&E framework, developed implementation tools, supported stakeholder engagement, and conducted independent assessments.

Value delivered

Stronger implementation quality, accountability, and evidence for decision-making - supporting learning, adaptation, and long-term scale-up.

Agriculture

Where livelihoods, food security, and resilience meet.

Agriculture shapes how people earn, how households absorb shocks, and how economies grow. FINOM sees it as a system that must work better for people - not production alone.

We use research, monitoring and evaluation, data systems, and analytics to understand what is happening, what is working, and where performance must improve. We then support practical solutions that strengthen agricultural systems and deliver measurable results.
